I am traveler at heart, and fulfilled a lifelong dream when I opened The Dwell Hotel in 2016. Driven by a profound appreciation for luxurious comfort and functional, beautiful design, I lovingly reimagined one of Chattanooga's most charming and historic spaces. The result: a hotel and cocktail bar that set a new standard for sophisticated hospitality. 

I have worked in the service industry, in one capacity or another, since I was 15 years old. My professional background spans many roles and many regions, from Costa Rica to Italy to India. An avid traveler and collector of unusual items, I would save money while bartending or being a maitre-d’ in a 5 star restaurant to continue my jaunts around the world. My studies were focused on medicine, but my career in my twenties was a non-profit path where I developed programs for multiple organizations both internationally and in the USA. 

In my early 30’s, I was ready to realize my childhood dream of owning my own hotel. Starting out was no easy task, but along with a close friend and investor, the building that is now The Dwell Hotel was purchased in 2015. The 16 room building was completely remodeled by me to be what it is today. I used my intuition for hospitality, and designed each and every space on my own with no formal design training. All the vintage items were collected from junk shops, Ebay, and garage sales. I have received numerous accolades for the unique and bold design of The Dwell Hotel. 

The hotel was sold in 2021, and I have since enjoyed raising my daughter while also working on design projects and consulting others in the hospitality industry. I am ready to take this journey to it’s next stages, and discover all your property has to offer.
